The Internet Archive Wayback Machine
Didn’t think anything like this was possible, but my brother sent me this link where they are pretty much archiving the majority of the internet for the world to see. It’s embarrassing looking at some of my old sites. But its amazing to see how far the internet in general has come along in such a short amount of time. If you go back as little as 3 years on just about any website, you can see how drastic the change goes from good to bad (dated). Facebook.com was owned by an entirely different company. It wasn’t until 2005 that the facebook we use now came to life — seems like its been around for a lot longer. I’ve looked through about 10 sites and to no surprise Myspace has had the LEAST amount of growth both design and code-wise — All they’ve really done is add more ADS…Figures.
