Great little store that I just found out about in SoHo. It’s filled with all kinds of cool stuff, from iPod speakers made out of Cardboard, to crushed tee shirts squeezed into a 3in. cube packaging. Sounds random, but you really gotta see this stuff to believe it. Pretty affordable too. Think IKEA meets UNIQLO at THE CONTAINER STORE in Japan. MUJI

glad to see you’re back at it man…its been a while. that store looks pretty cool. I read about those cardboard speakers that you’re speaking of earlier this week…in NYT’s gift guide I think it was. but yeah…I’ll add your feed to my rss reader. maybe we can get some type of cross-contribution deal going on between out sites after a while…just a thought. later.

Those cardboard speakers are crap. The sound is just too low, and you can’t turn it up or down on the speaker itself…only on your ipod/computer/whatever you’re plugging them into. It literally lower than your laptop speakers.
The store…I have yet to see. Someone hasn’t taken me there yet;)
